Frankfurt, 02 November 2023 – ETC Group, a leading European provider of exchange-traded products (ETPs) on cryptocurrencies, today announced that André Dragosch, PHD has been appointed as Head of Research. ETC Group issues institutional-grade crypto ETPs that enable private as well as institutional investors to access digital assets like Bitcoin or Ethereum in a simple and efficient way through their regular brokerage account. Before that Dragosch worked in portfolio management and investment research at well-known asset management institutions, including Union Investment, FERI and Helaba Invest. At ETC Group, he will be responsible for digital asset research and analysis.

Tim Bevan, CEO of ETC Group commented: "We are delighted to have brought André on board, a proven expert in the field of digital assets. From the very beginning, investor education has been an important concern for our company. Our crypto research team publishes regular and freely accessible high-quality analyses and reports for private and institutional investors, traders, financial service providers and crypto enthusiasts. We want to expand this offering, especially with regard to the important German market, in order to bring an understanding of the digital assets and the investment opportunities thereto to a broader investor base."

André Dragosch said of his new role at ETC Group: "Global adoption of crypto assets is clearly on the rise. Many investors and institutions are just becoming aware of this new, emerging asset class. I believe that ETC Group is very well positioned to provide further entry opportunities into digital assets, for both institutional and retail investors. I look forward to supporting the company on this journey."
